In a quiet villa in the heart of Diera, Dubai; Salam Nursery opens its doors. Since 1986, Salam Nursery has cared for over 4000 children, many of whom now send their children to Al Salam.

The legacy begins, demand for high quality education and a safe, caring environment brought Al Salam Private School into being. As one of the few schools welcoming children from all backgrounds and cultures, many families found a new home at Al Salam.

With the success of our IGCSE programme, the way was paved for A levels to be introduced. Al Salam was then able to boast a full-fledged and successful secondary school and Sixth form

In 2015, Al Salam participated in the PISA and TIMSS assessments. Our results were outstanding with a worldwide ranking and scoring significantly above the UAE Target and National averages. This milestone set the bar for the high achievement Al Salam would pursue as part of its identity.

With it’s long-anticipated opening, ASCS welcomes it’s existing and new families to our fantastic campus. With the intention of expanding Secondary opportunities for students at Al Salam, ASCS came into being in 2019. An outstanding first year of enrollment with 800 joining the Al Salam family

Despite the challenges of grappling with the Covid Pandemic and Distance Learning, students at ASCS prevailed in their resilience with outstanding achievement across IGCSE and A levels in both 2020 and 2021

Through truly remarkable student leadership initiative, a small seed planted in 2021 grew into a 200 delegate strong MUN conference. Our students demonstrated superb capabilities in research, debate, collaboration and resolution.

Moving into our first year of Inspection as a new School, ASCS was very successful in securing a Good with many Very Good features. Our status as a BSO school was also achieved through international school inspection.

As schools return to normal, Sporting excellence becomes a priority at ASCS. Our participation in DASSA enabled our children to showcase their outstanding teamwork, school pride and athletic skills against other schools.

ASCS launches a new 5 year strategy based on a vision for nurturing an inclusive learning community, leading excellence with Islamic values.

With 930 exam entries from our largest cohort to date, our students delivered exceptional results, achieving a remarkable 93% of grades at A*-C.
